Megan and Rachel trained me and so I come highly recommended and you can book me with confidence.
The trainers at Jing really know their stuff and manage to tread the perfect line between informal and warm as well as professional and structured. It was a pleasure to learn from them and what I achieved in just 9 days truly astonished me.
However, subsequently I was gaslighted by both members of the Jing Hub Facebook group and, astonishingly, again on the phone with Jing themselves where the woman on the phone, knowing I was already upset, provoked me further by ignoring my point that it wasn't appropriate to discuss the content of my website in public by suggesting it implied I was supplying a sexual service during Bodywork massage. I tried over and over to explain that the point was not the comments but that they were public and had attracted lots of public negative feedback! The more I tried to explain this the more passive-aggressive she became. In the end she falsely accused me of swearing(I had simply explained to her that I had felt like swearing) and then started to criticise the site herself without me asking her! She refused to apologise or even try to resolve it later when my temper had subsided.
They are excellent trainers but men beware as I doubt very much that a woman would have been bullied like this.
UPDATE May 2021
I called and left a kind message on the Jing answerphone explaining that, on reflection, I had not behaved in a way that was helpful last year and explained that I had benefited from having paid for lots of personal development work around "shadows"(the unhelpful, subconscious beliefs we pick up from society, religion and family and friends) and embodied intimacy. I even travelled to Berlin twice last year to attend weekend workshops! I explained that I would like a non-judgemental phone conversation to kindly discuss the situation with a view to "closing" this uncomfortable, unresolved "loop" and that I was prepared to even remove this review as I was aware of the impact it must be having on business and reputation. I closed by praising the training and how it had benefited my work.
Nina Frizoni called back and all seemed calm and she agreed that the phone conversation could be recorded. We enquired after one another's well-being. I asked whether I could speak and then explained the above again and acknowledged my part in not being able to hold my hurt at the time and that I now understood that "shadow" and fear of the unknown from the women on the group and at Jing was to play in their anger at finding out that I was using the training to augment my skills as a sensual masseur. I said I could see how my association with them might have triggered past trauma and that this stuff sits in our shadow until addressed. Any good somatic therapist knows this stuff.
Nina tried to talk over me several times, but I understood that this was triggering for her, so calmly asked to finish before she spoke. Eventually she respected my request and I completed.
I then explained that I would like to offer my advice freely - she attempted to talk over me again but for the third time allowed me to finish. I continued that I had realised the importance of therapists being able to acknowledge that body touch work often brings up unresolved trauma for both client and therapist and that I felt it would be good to augment Jing training with a short discussion of such.
Nina, somewhat dismissively claimed that I was wrong and that she had "never heard anything of the sort" in her experience. I explained that I had and reiterated that this was freely given advice and not something I was instructing her to incorporate.
I asked whether all she had to say was that I had caused harm and I should take the review down. "Yes, I have nothing else to say". I replied that I was feeling her passive aggression over the phone and was disappointed that she appeared to be trying to simply "pick-up" from the conflict last year and not offer any reconciliation in return.
Jing have declined to either Report my Google Business review as inaccurate or to respond because there is no possible response but "yes, it happened and please forgive us".
They will never do this because of the backlash it would cause them in their community of extreme feminists who need to maintain the abusive illusion that men hold a monopoly on abuse.
When you book with me, rest assured there will be no sexist projections in the room - I have processed my shadow and, even in the face of this bullying, remain a supporter of non-discrimination and sexual equality.
